- The entire studio will be sanitized daily with an EPA approved disinfectant.
- Space markers, door handles, ballet bars and bathrooms will be sanitized hourly.
- HEPA filters placed in the heating/cooling units
- HEPA air purifiers will be placed in each room and the lobby.
- No shared props will be used
- STUDENTS 1ST GRADE AND YOUNGER WILL RECEIVE THEIR OWN PROP BAG WITH SUPPLIES TO BE BROUGHT TO CLASS EACH WEEK.
- If dancers are sick, please keep them home. Makeups can be used in classes that have space available.
Arrival Procedures:
- BE ON TIME! Punctuality is crucial in order to properly enforce our safety procedures.
- Designated Entrance and Exit doors for drops offs.
- CHILDREN 7 AND OLDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO DROP OFF ONLY FOR THE TIME BEING
- PLEASE ONLY ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN FOR AGES 6 AND UNDER
- LIMITED NUMBER OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS IN THE LOBBY AT ONE TIME. CHAIRS WILL BE SETUP OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
- Dancers will enter for their class one at a time. Dancers will be temperature scanned and asked to sanitize their hands before entering the classroom.
- Face coverings are required in our lobby and until in their designated warm up spot.
- PLEASE BRING A ZIPLOC BAG TO SAFELY STORE FACE COVERINGS ONCE IN CLASS
- Dancers must arrive for class in proper dance attire. There will be no changing in the studio.
- Dancers will place street clothes and belongings in cubbies. No personal items should be placed in the seating area. Please label all items.
- WATER BOTTLES ARE THE ONLY PERSONAL ITEMS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM

- CELL PHONES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN CLASS.
- Dancers will be escorted to a personal space marker.
- If the student was provided with a prop bag, please make sure the dancer brings it each week. A designated spot will be used to place all bags.
Class Procedures:
- ALL students will dance on space markers to ensure social distancing.
- Space markers will be used to distance dancers when doing across the floor activities.
- There will be no use of ballet barres & community equipment for the foreseeable future.
- There will be absolutely no food or eating allowed in the building by students.
- The bathroom will be designated for dancers only and will be continuously sanitized
Dismissal Procedures:
- Parents/Guardians should arrive to the studio 5 minutes prior to the end of class for pick up.
- Parents of dancers 10 and under may line up outside the studio to wait for the dancer while maintaining proper social distancing.
- Parents of dancers 10+ will be led by a staff member to their parents/guardians car.
- Both doors will be used for dismissal. Purple room dancers will be dismissed from the door to the left (closest to the nail salon) Pink room dancers will be dismissed from the door on the right.
- At the conclusion of class, dancers will be released one at a time from the studio room.
- Dancers will collect ALL personal items and exit the studio.
- Those who wish to carpool must provide a written or emailed note of consent from both parents/guardians.
Closure Procedures:
- In the event we have to close due to state mandate, all classes will resume on zoom until we are permitted to reopen.
Exposure Procedures:
- In the event that a Dance Odyssey dance or family member contracts COVID-19, we will refer to the guidelines put forth by our local officials,
- Dancers who test positive for COVID-19 must remain home until they have been cleared by their doctor and a note provided.
